Alec Baldwin Visited by Ghosts of Trump's Past in 'SNL' Cold Open

From Michael Flynn to Hillary Clinton, Baldwin's Trump had a lot to reckon with this Christmastime.

Alec Baldwin returned to reprise his impersonation of President Donald Trump during Saturday Night Live's cold open this weekend to celebrate Christmas at the White House. Joined by Kate McKinnon’s Kellyanne Conway, Baldwin's Trump was in “pouty baby mode” and wanted to be alone in his Oval Office to reflect on what he’s done this year.

He was quickly joined by the "ghost of witness flipped” Michael Flynn (Mikey Day). “It’s time to come clean for the good of the country,” Flynn implored Trump, a sentence he had trouble understanding.

“Oh, Mike, you were my man … if only somebody warned me about you,” Trump said, to which Flynn responded, “Well, Obama did warn you not to hire me.”

“I meant someone American,” answered Trump.

Three guests then visited. First came Billy Bush (Alex Moffat) to remind Trump of the infamous Access Hollywood tape. "Can you believe I got fired just for listening to you?" Bush asked. Trump wished him the best and Bush made a subtle dig at recently fired Today host Matt Lauer: "I'm looking pretty good in the NBC news division right about now."

Later a shirtless Vladimir Putin (Beck Bennett). “You must be my present,” Trump said.

“Listen, we put a lot of work into you … and you’re about to mess it all up,” the Russian leader told Trump.

Finally, the last to arrive was a shrouded figure, whom Baldwin mistook as Steve Bannon, commonly depicted on SNL as the Grim Reaper, but it was revealed to be Hillary Clinton (McKinnon) — an even scarier sight for Trump. “You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to say this — ‘Lock him up!,” Clinton said, laughing.
