Across the late-night dial, hosts took aim at President Donald Trump's first official State of the Union address.

Stephen Colbert held a special live edition of his Late Show for the event, in which the host tackled Trump's comments about the recent hurricane disaster in Puerto Rico, Colbert noted, "That will be a touching message for the people of Puerto Rico once they have electricity to turn on their TV's."

Speaking of Trump's boast that African American is at an all-time low, Colbert quipped, "There was a time when African American unemployment was at zero, but only half of Trump's base wants to go back there." The comment earned a groan from the audience. "What?" Colbert asked. "I said half."

Over on Comedy Central, The Daily Show's Trevor Noah and The Opposition's Jordan Klepper similarly were live following Trump's address. In Noah's opening monologue, the host pointed out that many Democratic politicians had boycotted the speech in protest of some of the president's remarks and actions, including his reported "shithole" remarks. "In fact there were so many black women missing that Boko Haram tried to take credit for it," Noah joked.

Noah also addressed the president's comments on "Dreamers." Trump said in the speech, "My duty, and the sacred duty of every elected official in this chamber, is to defend Americans—to protect their safety, their families, their communities, and their right to the American Dream. Because Americans are dreamers too."

Noah responded, "Damn. Did Trump just 'All Lives Matter' the Dreamers?" referring to the "All Lives Matter" movement that arose in response to "Black Lives Matter."

On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the ABC host invited adult film actress Stormy Daniels to the program. Daniels has been at the center of news coverage for the past two weeks following resurfaced claims that she engaged in an affair with Trump in 2006. Daniels issued a statement earlier on Tuesday that the affair never happened.

"There's Melania wearing a nice white pantsuit in tribute to the president she voted for," Kimmel said in his monologue of the first lady's appearance at the State of the Union speech and how it didn't quell media reports that she was angered over reports of Stormy Daniels's reported affair with trump.

TBS' Conan wasted no time in addressing Trump's State of the Union address. In his monologue, host Conan O'Brien poked fun at the president and the first lady. "Earlier tonight President Trump gave his State of the Union address and as per tradition, someone who opposes the President gave the rebuttal. So this year’s rebuttal was given by Melania," quipped O'Brien. The host then added, "Trump said he now supports a plan for young immigrants to become citizens. When asked why, Trump said, 'Because I may have to look for a new wife soon.' ”
