The actress recently completed two seasons of Epix comedy 'Graves.'

Fox's musical drama pilot Mixtape has found its leading lady.

Graves alum Callie Hernandez has been tapped to star in the pilot from Josh Safran (Quantico, Smash).

The project is described as a romantic musical drama that looks at a disparate group of interconnected people in contemporary Los Angeles through the lens of the music that defines who they are. Mixtape captures the different stages of love, exploring if time can heal a broken heart and if love can withstand life's tragedies.

Hernandez will star as Nellie, whose job in admissions at an arts college and relationship with an up-and-coming musician have derailed her own dreams of becoming an artist. She joins Madeline Stowe (Revenge) in the pilot.

Former Smash showrunner Safran penned the script for the drama, which is being produced by Annapurna Television and 20th Century Fox Television. Annapurna's Megan Ellison and Sue Naegle will executive produce alongside Safran and Ali Krug, the latter of whom is set as a co-exec producer.

Hernandez recently completed two seasons of the Epix comedy Graves and counts the features Alien: Covenant, La La Land and Blair Witch among her credits. She next appears in the Amazon drama Too Old to Die Young. The actress is repped by CAA, Management 360 and Loeb and Loeb.
