With three hours of the show, ABC narrowly tops NBC for the night.

ABC may have seen humbling returns for its coverage of the 2018 Academy Awards — but on the bright side, its Monday follow-up (three hours of The Bachelor!) managed to steal some thunder from a Voice-driven NBC.

The Bachelor finale may have trailed The Voice as the night's top-rated program, averaging a season-high 2.2 rating among adults 18-49 to the singing competition's 2.5 rating, but its extended run time meant an overall nightly win for ABC. The network also saw an average 7.8 million viewers tune in for the extended finale — one that continues on Tuesday night.

As for NBC, narrowly No. 2, the second episode of Good Girls took a modest hit in its second episode — and, perhaps less promising news, did shed more than a few viewers between its first and second halves. All told, it averaged a 1.3 rating among adults 18-49.

CBS and Fox shared No. 3 status for the night., each airing all originals. CBS' block of Kevin Can Wait (1.1 adults), Man With a Plan (1.1 adults), Superior Donuts (0.8 adults), Living Biblically (0.7 adults) and Scorpion (0.8 adults) held steady with the previous week — as did Lucifer (0.7 adults) and The Resident (0.9 adults) on Fox.

The CW posted an even Legends of Tomorrow (0.4 adults) and a rather diminished episode of iZombie (0.2 adults).
