Luke Bryan loves getting into the holiday spirit with his close-knit family at their farm in Nashville.

“I become Clark W. Griswold. I’m falling off things,” Bryan told ABC News of the beloved movie character who had 25,000 lights on his home display in National Lampoon’s "Christmas Vacation.”

“We have a big time. We’re going to get the whole family in,” he added. “Some of the family we don’t like so we try to put them way out in the barn, in the loft. I’m digging myself a holiday hole right now.”

Bryan said when he was a little boy he “never in a million years” imagined he’d be singing country music for devoted fans in New York City.

“You ought to hear my family ask, ‘Now how do you shows up there? There are really country music fans up there?’ But yes, there really are, tons of them,” he said.
