'Chicago P.D.' Repeats Moving to Fox in National Syndication Deal

The NBC procedural will air on weekdays on Fox Television Stations beginning in September.

Chicago P.D. repeats are on the move.

The Dick Wolf procedural, which airs new episodes on NBC, is moving repeats from USA Network and Oxygen to Fox Television Stations in a national syndication deal. The drama starring Jason Beghe will begin airing on weekdays in September on local Fox owned-and-operated stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Washington, D.C., Houston, Phoenix, San Francisco, Minneapolis, Orlando and Charlotte, among other cities. The deal arrives after NBCUniversal-owned cablers USA Network and Oxygen first acquired off-network syndication rights.

“We are thrilled to bring another Dick Wolf hit to the broadcast marketplace,” said Sean O’Boyle, exec vp syndication sales at NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution. “Chicago P.D. is a premier procedural and is a unique opportunity for local broadcasters, as it is the only off-net scripted hour available to play as a Monday-Friday strip. This series will strengthen our partner stations’ programming schedules the same way the Law & Order franchise has done over the years.”
