TV Ratings: 'Grey's Anatomy' Dominates Thursday

'Great News' wraps a modest sophomore season without an original lead-in.
Grey's Anatomy, the gift that keeps on giving, provided ABC with a Thursday win with both adults 18-49 and total viewers.
The drama averaged a 2.2 rating in the key demo, even with the previous week, and earned 8.5 million viewers. Without original CBS comedies, Grey's ranked as the night's most-watched show. Elsewhere on ABC, Scandal (1.3 adults) and How to Get Away With Murder (1.1 adults) repeated their midseason premiere scores.
Over on Fox, The Four continued its impressively steady run. It averaged a 1.2 rating among adults 18-49 and 3.6 million viewers, a shade improved from last week.
NBC aired originals, with the exception of Will & Grace, and Superstore (1.2 adults) and The Good Place (1.1 adults) were both improved from the previous week. Great News, closing out a soft season 2, was not aided by a repeat lead-in. It earned a 0.5 rating in the key demo. With seven days of time-shifting, the show has averaged a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers this season.
Chicago Fire perked back up to a 1.1 rating.
CBS wasn't all repeats. NFL special MVP: Most Valuable Performer earned a 0.7 rating in the key demo. And, on the CW, Supernatural earned its best audience since the season premiere (1.95 million), while both it (0.6 adults) and Arrow (0.4 adults) were steady in the demo.
