Christine Lahti Joins Fox's 'Gone, Baby, Gone' Reboot

The pilot stars Joseph Morgan and is based on Dennis Lehane's book.

Christine Lahti has signed on to Fox's untitled Gone, Baby, Gone reboot.

Based on Dennis Lehane's novel, the drama pilot follows private detectives Patrick Kenzie (The Originals' Joseph Morgan) and Angela Gennaro (uncast), armed with their wits, their street knowledge and an undeniable chemistry, as they right wrongs the law can’t in the working-class Boston borough of Dorchester.

Lahti will play Antonia, Angie's politician mother.

Robert Levine (Jericho, Judging Amy) penned the script and exec produces alongside author Lehane. Phillip Noyce will direct the 20th Century Fox Television/Miramax pilot.

Lahti, an Oscar winner in 1996 for her short film Lieberman in Love, earned an Emmy for her role in Chicago Hope and has been nominated multiple times. Her recent TV credits include episodes of The Good Fight, The Blacklist, Hawaii Five-0 and Grace and Frankie. Her book, True Stories From an Unreliable Eyewitness: A Feminist Coming of Age, bows in April. She's repped by ICM Partners and Echo Lake Entertainment.
